While trying to find his niche, Aamir Shah got his first break in 1999 after participating in an album cover contest for the biggest Rock band of Pakistan Junoon. Beating nearly 255 entries, Shah nabbed the contract for the album cover of Junoon's Parvaaz and its brochure. Later in 2000 he worked with another famous Pop Rock Pakistani band Strings on their website. It was all uphill from there. In 2001 Shah joined Pyramid Production, the production division for Interflow Communication (Ogilvy & Mather) in Pakistan. He worked with Rohail Hyatt on his first large scale project 'Pepsi Battle of the Bands'.

For the five years Shah worked with Interflow Communications he worked on various and different projects like LUX, Nestle, Ponds, Toyota, Daihatsu, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7up etc. He then took the position of Head of Graphics and Promotion for MTV Pakistan. With things looking up, he landed the job of a Creative Manager at Recorder Television Network and worked on their channels AAJ TV and PLAY TV.

Shah has left all that behind to start a new chapter in the country where it all started for him. He is back to in UAE and working for various clients.
